Our Vision

Smart KIDS envisions a diverse community in which kids are respected and heard by a collaborative support system of organized and trained adults, who are teachers and friends at the same time and help kids realize their potential.

Our Mission

Smart KIDS initiates and supports transformational educational experiences through which kids are inspired and enabled to learn environment through interactive lessons and create positive change within themselves.

Our education philosophy is based on respect, friendship, communication and mutual help. Curiosity is the driver of the schools’ love for learning and growing. Social responsibility is one more main principle for promoting the social justice.

Frequently Asked Questions

The President shall:
  1. No person shall serve as President unless they have previously served in a position on the Executive Committee.
  2. Preside at all meetings of the PTO and of the Executive Committee;
  3. Perform such other duties as may be prescribed in these bylaws or assigned to her/him by the PTO or by the Executive Committee;
  4. Coordinate the work of the officers and committees of the PTO in order that the purposes may be promoted;
  5. Be authorized to represent the PTO before public entities;
  6. Have his or her vote serve as the final tie-breaker in all matters being voting on by the Executive Committee;
  7. Present to the Executive Committee any issues/concerns raised by members relating to the PTO or PTO-related activities/events and make all final decisions concerning said issues/concerns based on feedback from the Executive Committee;
  8. Review and sign contracts and any agreements that obligate the PTO to pay $500 or more, or that are for a term that exceeds the current school year.  The President may, however, give written permission to another Executive Committee member to sign on the President’s behalf; and
  9. Approve all written material that is distributed to parents, students and/or staff.
